Is it weird...

That I love totally overcast days? No sun to speak of really. Just cloudy.
I think I seriously could go the rest of my life without another bright sunny day, and be completely happy. And I love rain too.
The sun and I, we just don't mesh well together.
Weird as it may be, I just don't like the sun, and I hope the rest of the summer stays nice and overcast.
I have very fair (princess) skin, and I burn easily. Which is part of the reason I dont like the sun. The other part is I have wicked sensitive eyes. I think maybe a little over sensitive to be honest. Oh and also, I loath sweating for no good reason. Seriously, if I'm just standing there, and I'm sweating...I'm not okay with that. Workout sweat? yea ok. Sex sweat? please and thank you! Sweat for no good reason other than the mean ass sun is out? No fucking thank you!

Still going strong with diet and exercise. As a matter of fact, I just moved up to level two on Jillian's DVD. My sister and I usually work out together, and I gotta say it makes it so much more fun when she is there. We laugh. A lot. Which I certainly do not do when she isn't there with me. Don't get me wrong, we're working our asses off and sweating like Guatemalan whores, but we manage to have a decent time of it.
The scale hasn't moved. No weight lost and no weight gained. I'll take it. I forgot (again) to get a measuring tape. But I'm certain I've lost inches. I think my boobs are getting smaller too. Woo!
My husband says he is proud of me, but has yet to say anything about me LOOKING any better. I guess maybe I've got a "bit" more to go before the compliments start flowing in?

Meh, whatever. I'm trying.

I bet you look go-geous! It is much better to have a work-out partner. Enjoy your overcast day! You should move up here (Washington)! :)

Keep up with it. :) As long as you're happy-- that's what matters.

If you like overcast then the east coast is definitely the place to be! I just heard that 25 of the 30 days in June were rainy/overcast. Crazy. But I'm with you about not sweating for no reason.

Lea- Y'know...We're planning on a trip to DC in August...Hmmmmm.

Stace- See, I'm not happy. Hence the working out and diet. =) East coast hmmmm? Where about?

Angry- Honestly, I kinda like level 2 better. I think my favorite thing about her DVD, is that its a 20 minute intense workout rather than 45 minutes. I just dont have time for that crap. Ideally I'd like to lose 30lbs total. Realistically, I'll settle for 20lbs.

I like to work out alone. It's because I'm really self-conscious about my body, no matter what it's size. I preferring running on a treadmill (not on a road because then people would see me. I have problems, obviously) The only group exercise I actually like is yoga or pilates. It's challenging and wicked hard but it's not competitive and it's slow enough that I don't feel like a fucking moron. Anyway, I'm really glad you are happy with the way things are going. Healthy and happy. That's what I want for you.

I hope you hold onto that DVD for me in November, because I'm gonna need it. And, you are doing a great job!

Gwen- The only person I actually feel comfortable exercising around is my sister. She is cool shit and doesnt judge. I <3 her.

Casey- Yes ma'am! And thank you.

Sarah - I'm in the other Washington (State). But DC sounds fun! If you are ever up this way you should definitely let me know!

I love rainy overcast days because it's like permission to be lazy and do nothing. Give me an rainy Saturday in October and I'm happier than pig in shit--12 straight hours of football and beer. Awesome.

I also wanted to tell you that I like overcast days too. I have a decidedly unsunny disposition. I like when the weather reflects my mood. Gloomy days are just more comfortable for my depressed ass.

HIF- I'm more productive when its not hot and sunny. So, thats not my reason.

Gwen- See, I dont find rain and clouds depressing, not at all. I find it peaceful.
